The way most people run, may be considered normal, but doesn't make it right and it most probably isn't natural ! When we run barefoot, we run naturally.

Running with a natural, efficient form isn’t a physical endeavor. It is a whole body movement, coordinated by an instinctive mind-body connection. No one has perfect running form but everyone can improve their running mechanics. Doing so will make you a more efficient runner, which means you’ll use less energy in every stride and boost your running economy.
